The Weather in the Peloponnese
The Peloponnese in Greece is blessed with plenty of sunshine
and high temperatures for long sections of the year.
Clear
blue skies, brilliant sunlight and warm seas can be enjoyed outside
peak season.
Most people choose to come to Peloponnese during the spring and summer
when the weather is warm and dry in order to best enjoy the region's
beautiful beaches and seaside activities. If you choose to visit the
region during that time it is unlikely that you will need to pack warm
clothing or rain gear. During the winter the temperature is much colder
so visitors are advised to take along jackets and warm clothing as well
an umbrella, although the temperatures rarely, if ever, drop below the
freezing mark.
